These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and WebToolsz ("WebToolsz", "we", "us" or "our"), governing your use of the Image Toolkit application (package name com.webtoolsz.imagetoolkit) (the "App"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. In India, users under 18 are treated as children and additional protections apply.
2. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, WebToolsz grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
3. License Restrictions
You agree not to, and not to allow others to:
- copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, or attempt to extract its source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit the App;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices, or circumvent Pro or licensing controls;
- use the App to violate any law or the rights of others, or to process content you have no right to use;
- interfere with or disrupt the App or attempt unauthorised access to related systems.
4. Description of the Service
Image Toolkit lets you compress, resize and convert images, process images in batches, create passport photos, resize for social media, bulk-rename files, view image information, and keep a local processing history. Image processing takes place on your device. Some features are free and some require a Pro upgrade.
5. Your Responsibility for Files & Data
You are solely responsible for the images and files you select and for the results you save. Please note:
- Deletion and overwriting can be permanent. If you overwrite or delete an image, it may not be recoverable. Keep backups of anything important before processing.
- Compression reduces quality. Lowering quality or changing format can permanently affect an image's appearance and metadata.
- We are not responsible for any loss, corruption or unintended modification of your files arising from your use of the App. See Sections 15 and 16.
6. Free / Pro / Subscriptions
The App offers a free tier (with ads and certain limits, such as a maximum batch size) and a paid "Pro" offering. Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly subscription, an auto-renewing yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, sold through Google Play Billing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can view, manage or cancel subscriptions any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. The lifetime purchase grants Pro without recurring charges.
- Prices may change; we will provide notice as required and any increase applies only after your current period, subject to your consent where required by Google Play or law.
7. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are generally subject to Google's refund policies. Please review the Google Play refunds policy. Statutory consumer rights to a refund in your country are not affected by this Section.
8. Advertisements
The free version displays advertisements served through Google AdMob. Ads may be personalised depending on your settings and consent. Upgrading to Pro removes ads. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services including Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config), Google AdMob and Google Play services. Your use of these is subject to their respective terms and policies. Our Privacy Policy describes what data these services process.
10. Updates & Availability
We may release updates, and some updates may be required for continued use. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, logos and content (excluding your images), is owned by WebToolsz or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license in Section 2, no rights are granted to you.
12. Trademarks & Independence
Names of image formats (such as JPG, PNG and WebP) and any social-media platform names are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Google, Google Play, Firebase and AdMob are trademarks of Google LLC. Image Toolkit is an independent application developed by WebToolsz and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google or any other third party mentioned.
13. User Conduct / Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App lawfully and not to process content that is illegal, infringing or that you do not have the right to modify, and not to use the App to harass, harm or violate the rights of others.
14. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant WebToolsz a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to use it for any purpose without obligation or compensation to you.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT PROCESSING WILL PRESERVE IMAGE QUALITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEBTOOLSZ AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, IMAGES, PROFITS OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR TEN US DOLLARS (USD 10). NOTHING LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebToolsz from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.
18. Termination
These Terms apply while you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 19) will survive.
19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts located in India will have jurisdiction, subject to the following. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you reside, and nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights (including for users in the EEA and the UK). Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at imagetoolkit@webtoolsz.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
20. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice where appropriate. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
21. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and WebToolsz regarding the App.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Google Play. These Terms are between you and WebToolsz, not Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its support, and is not a party to these Terms.
